It seems like just yesterday, I was photographing sweet baby Alex for her newborn session. Her session was at her home, on a chilly and cloudy fall day. We thankfully were able to take advantage of all of the windows in their gorgeous sun room. She had strong opinions about posing that day, and truthfully, her opinions led to some of my favorite newborn images, ever. She posed herself, let me know when she thought my ideas were bananas, and was happiest cuddled up with mom or dad. She knew what she wanted, and frankly, most babies do. They may be tiny, but they are quite opinionated. Alex just celebrated her first birthday, and I love meeting back up with families for such a big milestone to see how their little loves have grown, and changed, and developed their personalities! She still has opinions, and is still a very strong-willed little girl. I love her for it. It will serve her quite well as she grows up. She feels big–loves playing, loves exploring, adores her mommy, cherishes her daddy, and loves food. We took advantage of all of her big preferences, and because of that, we were able to capture Alex exactly as she is at one-year-old. Super active, incredibly curious, and full of love and smiles. She also has quite the affinity for the song, Wheels on the Bus. She’s basically toddler perfection, bundled up in this little blonde-haired, blue-eyed, precious little girl. I hope you enjoy this little peek into Alex’s session, and be sure to check out the short family film from her session as well!
